Capital H I M

OH my god. Yesterday was the release of Lady Gaga's new single "Born This Way", and the hype was HUGE! My boyfriend was ranting and raving up until the 10 minute mark waiting for the release, and when I turned on the radio later on, there it was:

Don't be a drag, just be a queen.
Don't be a drag, just be a queen.
Don't be a drag, just be a queen.

I can't stop listening to it! This song is so upbeat that it could never be overplayed due to its Prozac-like effect on people. It's different to anything we know and love Gaga for, but the '90s vibe and Madonna-esque sound make me think that this song will go down in history, among the classics like Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Livin' on a Prayer!

The unsubtle and often religious lyrics are arguably disagreeable, but even if you aren't religious, the message still counts. You are who you are, and don't try to change that or tell yourself there's something wrong with you. Gaga has made sure that NOBODY can misread this song, and although it isn't the insane chaos we were hoping for, you can never forget that tune.
